Where I went- I went with Mrs. Nancy Oviatt of the Law Offices of Green, Roby, Oviatt, Cummings, & Linngreen. We spent some time there and also at the courthouse watching a trial.

Why I went there- My entire GATE class and I got to spend the day with a person of the carer that we wanted to be when we grow up. I of course wanted to be a lawyer so I went to a law office.

What I did- Mrs. Oviatt and I spent some time at her office talking about her career, traveled to our courthouse where we witnessed a murder trial, and when we got back to her office we toured her library which was full of old law books.

When I went- My Job Shadow Experience took place on the twenty seventh of January 2010 from nine am to ten thirty am.

What I learned- I learned that not all lawyers are in court every single day. Some lawyers - like Mrs. Oviatt - don't have a court appearance for two week sometimes! Sometimes lawyers are in there every day for weeks during a trial.

        On the twenty seventh of January I took a Job Shadowing trip with Mrs. Nancy
    Oviatt of the law offices of Green, Roby, Oviatt, Cummings, & Linngreen. We
    spent some time at her office and than took a trip to the courthouse were we
    watched a murder trial. We saw all of the defendants side but than we had to
    leave on account of the fact that we had to be back at her office at a certain time.
    When we got back, we toured her library and than it was time to go home. I had a
    really great time!!!!!!!!!
