Watertown Coordinated School Health
CHST is a collaborative partnership between the South Dakota Departments of Education and Health along with funding through the CDC. Currently, twenty-three school districts across South Dakota have Coordinated School Health Teams. Watertown businesses, organizations, and schools have joined together to promote healthy choices within the community. The Coordinated School Health Team meets monthly to identify, discuss, and address community and school health concerns. Goals and action plans are created to give direction for addressing the issues the team has identified.
