In this fast paced learning environment, students will be introduced to the vast world of multimedia production. Students will learn the technical side of video production through the use of industry standard Adobe Production Studio CS3. Students will first learn standards in image manipulate, which will include a strong understanding of Photoshop CS3 and production. Photoshop will be followed by extensive training in video production hardware and software. Software includes Premiere for video production, After Effects for video animation, Soundbooth and Audacity for audio editing and Fruit Loops for music creation. Students will assist in live school event broadcasts and create green screen projects, digital puppet animations, broadcast animations, and a final digital video, which will include the creation of DVDs and Flash websites.
