This computer-enhanced course is designed to prepare the students to enter the world of work. Each student will begin by defining career interests and goals. The course will then travel the route of the world of work. Students will learn how to seek employment, fill out applications, prepare resumes, interview for positions, and follow up on job opportunities. The course will then stress work related activities including working in groups, employment behavior, life skills, and managing conflict. Finally, the course will offer suggestions on how to effectively leave one job and move on to another. All students will be entering the world of work. This course will help them be more successful.
