This course provides a fundamental understanding of visual communications, including problem solving, research, and the interaction of text with images.  Some areas of study include logos, business cards, posters, CD covers, billboards, and package design.  Digital Photography will be included into the class to incorporate product photography in commercial design.  Drawing and photography skills are helpful, but not required.  The majority of this class will be working on the computer using Adobe Illustrator©.  This class is a two-dimensional art class.
