Spanish I introduces students to the language and culture of Spanish speaking countries throughout the world. Students learn basic vocabulary and grammar for everyday situations by working with texts and dialogues interesting to today’s teens. Many extra classroom activities provide variety and enhance learning. Using the four basic communication skills of listening, speaking, reading, and writing, students receive a solid groundwork in the language, which prepares them for Spanish II, and an appreciation of the Spanish lifestyle and culture.
