This course fulfills the 1/2 credit of 12th grade English Composition requirement. This writing course explores forms and techniques of creative writing. Students should expect to journal and create original, publishable works in several genres including, but not limited to: poetry, short story, and drama. Literary elements and devices will be examined in depth and will be used in these works. Finally, students will be expected to revise, edit, and work cooperatively.
