Topics of this class include the physical and chemical properties of matter and how these are used to form the basic layout of the periodic table of elements. The parts of the atom will be studied and applied to how elements form compounds and how these compounds react. This course will also investigate light waves, sound waves, energy changes, electricity and magnetism, motion and forces, work, power, and machines. This course is a prerequisite to all Chemistry and Physics Courses.
