BIOLOGY:  PLANT AND ANIMAL DIVERSITY

ELIGIBILITY:  9, 10, 11, 12

PREREQUISITE:  Microbiology

CREDIT:  1/2

Students will study the structure, function, and diversity of plants and animals.  Special emphasis will be placed on evolutionary adaptations of these organisms.  Classification systems will be developed for identifying plants and animals.  Any student interested in pursuing botany, zoology, agricultural and natural resource studies, natural sciences, or environmental conservation would benefit from this course.
