This college-prep course will study the motion of objects, including velocity and acceleration, along straight and curved paths. It will also investigate the interaction of objects in relation to collisions and forces such as gravitational fields. In addition, different forms of energy (heat, light, sound) will be studied as well as how energy is transferred and conserved. This course is recommended for anyone pursuing careers in vehicle or equipment operation and repair, construction, engineering and technology, or health and medicine. Students taking this course should have a good background in math.
