A college-bound or self-motivated student with a quest for a deeper study of our government and how it affects our lives will be a prerequisite for this course. We will spend more time on research and class-led demonstrations than the regular U.S. Government course. You will also be required to contribute 8 to 9 hours of community services and attend 2 “government in action” meetings during the course of the term. The course material covered will be the same as the description in the regular class described above. This course may be taken as a junior (upon recommendation of their world history teacher) and fulfills the Senior Social Science requirement.
