Psychology is a social science that explores human and animal behavior and experience.  It answers such perplexing questions as:  Where did I come from? (Human Development.)  Why didn’t I see that? (Perception).  Why do I forget? (Memory).  Why can’t I understand this? (Learning).  Why don’t I want to study and work? (Motivation).  Why do I laugh and cry? (Emotions).  Why Am I? (Personality).  Am I OK? (Normal and Abnormal behavior.) Psychology is taken by the curious student who seeks answers to questions that involve their own humanness. The student who likes learning and knowledge gained through class activities and lab exercises in order to help gain an understanding of oneself and others through academics and participation would like this course.
