In studying abnormal psychology, we set our sights on the worst that can happen when human beings find themselves confronted with challenges or demands that exceed their coping skills, by problems that are just too great. In abnormal psychology the student will study what is abnormal, stress disorders, anxiety-based disorders, personality disorders, mood disorders, schizophrenia and delusional disorders, and their symptoms and treatment of these psychological disorders.
