In this course, students will study and discuss local, state, national and international current events. Students will learn where countries and people are located, compare and contrast differences, and discover how and why people, resources, and ideas move from place to place. Students will explore components of U.S. History and government. Major world events and exploration of other countries such as Asia, Africa, South America, and Canada will also be addressed in this course.
