MULTIMEDIA VIDEO DESIGN

PREREQUISITE:  Good computer skills

This class introduces students to the variety of multimedia used to create marketing mediums used in
web pages, videos, animations, and more. Students will explore video design, proper shooting
techniques and piece it all together through storyboarding. The students will learn how to develop
their own videos using the software Adobe Products. They will learn how to add sound, still images,
special effects and 3D animation to their integrated video projects. The students will be introduced to
the concept of 3D animation and learn the steps to create simple animations. They will do this through
the use of current freeware available to them. The students will explore the careers available in the
world of Digital Media and Production. Students are invited to participate in SkillsUSA. Articulation
credits with SD technical schools are available.
