Describe Skill Steps

1.  Look at the person.

 

2.  Use a pleasant, enthusiastic voice.

 

3.  Ask if you can help.  Describe the activity or task you are

 

     offering to do.

 

4.  Thank the person.

 

5.  Check back when you have finished.

 

 

 

 

Rationale

By volunteering, others may be more willing to help you in the
