Elementary Program
Identified students in grades two through six, are eligible to participate in the GATE classroom which meets at Garfield School one half day each week. Each grade has a curriculum topic as a focus with learning emphasis in research and technology.
After school classes are also available to identified gifted students. These classes are available during the months of October through April and are usually held from 3:45 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. at the Watertown Middle School. Classes are in the areas of foreign languages, sign language, drawing, painting, science, geography, creative writing, technology, etc.
Within the regular classroom setting, curriculum modifications might include curriculum compacting, enrichment, tiered assignments, mentorship or subject acceleration to meet the needs of identified students.
Middle SchoolStudents eligible for the gifted program in grades 7 and 8 may participate in accelerated reading and math classes at the Middle School. Within the regular classroom setting, curriculum modifications might include curriculum compacting, enrichment, tiered assignments, mentorship or subject acceleration to meet the needs of identified gifted students.
High SchoolThe following accelerated classes are available to high school students:
- Accelerated English 9
- Accelerated English 10
- Accelerated English 10 with Debate
- Accelerated English 11
- Accelerated Geometry
- Accelerated Algebra II
- Accelerated Trigonometry and Analytic Geometry
- Accelerated Pre calculus
- PreCalculus (Accelerated)

- Accelerated U.S. Government
The following College Prep (CP) courses are also available to high school students:

The following Dual Credit courses are available through Lake Area Technical Institute and
Mount Marty College, Watertown campus. Students can receive high school credit and college credit for the following courses:
