K - 12 Grading Policy
-
"In grade levels K-2, the
grading notation shall be E (excellent), S+, S (satisfactory), S-, and N
(needs improvement).
In grades 3-12, the grading notation shall be based on letter grades of
A, B, C, D, F and I (incomplete) based on the percentage scale noted
below.
Percentile Scale:
100 - 92 = A 91 - 84 = B
83 - 76 = C 75 - 68 = D
67 - 0 = F

Bonus Point System - For AP
courses at the high school level bonus points are awarded to grade marks
earned in AP courses. These points are added onto a student's
regular cumulative grade point average. (GPA)
Bonus points are as follows: A = .021 B = .011
C = .006

Watertown High School at 1311 Third Avenue NE, LAMD offers
career and technical courses in the following areas:
LAMD also provides
coordination for internship activities.
LAMD is a cooperative effort
of the Castlewood, Florence, Grant-Deuel, Hamlin, Henry,
Summit,
Watertown, and Waverly-South Shore school districts.
LAMD students annually earn
awards at the Skills USA VICA contests for career leadership skills.

Lake Area Technical
Institute is a premier technical college that is held in high regard
throughout the region. The instructional staff and areas of study
